5 “Harmless” Items That Could Become A Source Of Infection If You Don’t Use Them Properly

  1. Bath sponge

It’s no secret that they are the ideal environment for the growth of bacteria and fungus which can easily cause infection. Therefore, choose sponges made of natural fibers because they contain enzymes that control the development and growth of bacteria. Wash the sponge thoroughly after each use, drain the water from it, and store them in a dry place. Replace the sponge after 30 days of use.

When the dry air dries you skin and airways, the air freshener brings great relief. However, if not maintained properly, it becomes a source of various pathogenic fungi that it sprays in the air. Depending on which model you have, you must change the filters and water. Never leave water in a freshener after use because it accumulates mold.
