Handyman Pours Dish Soap Into Toilet – When He Shows Why? – I Ran To Try It!
You should most definitely try this effective and very useful trick, presented by Brit at Build TV. Sometimes, if you are dealing with a clogged toilet and you don’t have a plunger or you are too afraid to use one (because it’s too yucky), then you should definitely try this simple trick. We can’t guarantee you that it will work every time, but many people who’ve used it have said that it worked for them in many different occasions. Just take a look at a video bellow. Brit uses dish soap, but other people who’ve tried this trick said that liquid laundry detergent works even better.
How to unclog a toilet without a plunger simply
Just follow these simple instructions:
- First, you need to pour a good amount of liquid soap into your toiled bowl (about ½ a cup). This trick will work because soap is denser and heavier than water. It should drop to the bottom of the bowl.
- Then, leave the liquid dish soap to sit in the bowl for 30 minutes. In that time, the dish soap will seep into the clog, lubricating the trap way.
- After 30 minutes, you need to fill up a container with some hot water and pour it into the toilet bowl. You need to be sure not to overflow the toilet bowl with too much water. Slowly, the clog should work its way up.
This method may now work for all clogs, but people who have tried this trick reported success by repeating the steps one and three. So, if you don’t un-clog your toilet with the first attempt, you should try it couple more times. It should work! Some people also said that they did this trick at night and in the morning the clog was all gone.
