Pepsi Admits: The Bottled Water We Sell Is Plain Tap Water!
Recently Pepsi Corporation admits that its bottled water by the name Aquafina isn’t purified or spring water, but a plain tap water. The company will now be forced to change the label on the bottle.
Many customers choose bottled water because they are concerned about the quality of tap water, which contains high level of fluoride and other chemicals. Unfortunately, we are now aware that in many cases, bottled water we usually buy is actually not so better than tap water.
For many years, an organization called “Corporate Accountability International” has been assigned to check the contents of bottled water and pushes the companies so they would stop with distribution of fake products.
Aquafina is actually one of the top selling and leading water brands in the world.
The organization “Corporate Accountability International” now analyses the Coca-Cola bottled water, so they can tell is it a false advertisement or not. However, in the company are denying that their water is actually tap water.
“We don’t believe that our customers are confused about the water source. They can see very clearly on the label that our water is purified,” Coca-Cola representative Diana Garza Ciarlante said.
Major bottled water supplier, the company Niagra Bottling recently announced that one of their springs was contaminated by E-Coli, which caused many leading bottled water companies to withdraw their products from the market.
