Woman Has Shattering Headaches For 9 Months… Then Doctors Pull THIS Out Of Her Head

We’ve all experienced headaches and we all know that a headache can make our life really difficult sometimes. You can’t do anything, you can’t work, you can’t sleep – you just want to make it disappear. And, unfortunately, headaches are one of the most common ailments. They affect millions of people around the world for a vast number of different reasons, ranging from the common cold to debilitating migraines.

This 31-year-old mother from Texas was experiencing painful, head-splitting headaches, and she says that they “came” out of nowhere. After pushing through the pain for nine agonizing months, Yadira Rostro finally decided it was time to visit a doctor and root out the cause of her suffering. Well, it’s a good thing she made the call! Why – because if she had waited, she may not have been able to be a mother any longer. And, now you probably ask yourself – what happened?

Here’s what you need to know – when the doctors did a CT scan to diagnose her headache problems, they found that she had an abnormal growth. Her symptoms of diminishing eyesight, nausea and dizziness all pointed to the common, yet deadly brain tumor. But, they were wrong! When they took a closer look of her scans, the doctors determined that the young mother was suffering from the presence of tapeworm eggs that had been deposited at the base of her brain. So, the doctors performed a surgical procedure to remove the tapeworm eggs from her brain! They found 8 eggs! The doctors mentioned that if they hatched before being removed, she likely would have died.

She said that she is very lucky to be alive. And, here comes the million-dollar question – how does one fall victim to such a tiny, yet painful and deadly threat? Well, the experts say that she probably picked up the tapeworm that laid the eggs on a recent trip to Mexico, where she may have consumed tapeworm-laden food. The condition, which isn’t considered common, is known as neurocysticercosis. And, after the surgical procedure, her vision was back to normal. And the best part about that is no more headaches.
