Experts from the University of Taiwan have decided to conduct an experiment.
What they did is they gathered women of different ages, weight and origin and gave them to drink one glass (about 250 ml) tomato juice every day in a period of 2 months.
The fastest and most visible change was a significant loss of kilograms and experts emphasized that it’s not about the liquid which is thrown out, but it’s just the fat deposits!
„The tested women didn’t change their habits in nutrition or exercising and in just a few days the results were visible”, discover the scientists who conducted this experiment.
They also took some blood out of these women in the beginning and in the end of the researches.
„A significant lower level of cholesterol was noticed, but the lycopene was increased – that’s an antioxidant from the tomatoes which has many benefits for the health”, scientists say.
The experiment also showed that one glass of tomato juice a day strengthens the immunity, prevents from heart diseases, but also decreases the risk from cancer development! Besides that, this refreshing beverage helps in digestion problems, stimulates the excretion of liquids, protects the health and prevents urinary bladder diseases, as well as pancreas, liver and lung diseases.
Tomato juice is excellent for the skin and contributes towards having a shiny complexion and it also significantly decreases cough, prevents anemia, alleviates rheumatic symptoms and improves the blood count.

If you’re planning to use purchased juice, be careful that it’s of organic origin, otherwise the effects won’t be complete. It would be best if you prepare the juice at home, from 6 kilograms of tomatoes, 4 tablespoons of sugar and two tablespoons of salt.
Cut the petioles and then wash the tomatoes in cold water. Filtrate it, grind it and then add salt and sugar. Leave it to cook.
Stir it often so it doesn’t burn and when it boils, cook it for another 10 minutes with constant stirring. Pour the hot, cooked tomatoes in sterilized glass bottles and shut them tight. When it cools down, store the bottles on a cool place.
